ABOUT ME

Kia Ora, my name is Anya and I'm 20 years old! I was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand and knew from a very young age that I had a passion for drawing and creating things. Hence I have pursued a Bachelor of Digital Design at AUT to complement my creative flare. I am currently going in my final year and have chosen to specialise in VFX . I find its flexibility and cinematic aspects very appealing as well as the ability to challenge my creativity.

 

Although I like to dapple in many artistic mediums such as 3D, various forms of traditional art and jewellery making, the main one I enjoy is digital illustration. I have been drawing digital art since late 2015 and have had so much fun developing my skills in the medium. The painting software I use is called Procreate and have used it for the past 4 years. I am definitely more inclined to drawing or designing characters but hope advance my skills in environment illustration.

There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a vision being brought to life and my art/ creative outlets enable me to do so. Therefore I hope that I can use my skill to bring light to others' ideas as well as my own.
